SRFax alternatives for healthcare
SRFax Healthcare Lite is $12.60 a month ($10.70 billed annually) for 200 pages, with the BAA by request form. Fax Pigeon's Basic plan is $5.99 ($4.99 billed annually), with the BAA signed at signup.

For the same 200 pages a month with a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA), SRFax's Healthcare Lite plan is $12.60, or $10.70 billed annually, and Fax Pigeon's Basic plan is $5.99, or $4.99 billed annually. SRFax issues its BAA through a request form, and its terms say you do not own the number. aiFax, SingleFax and FaxTerra also sign a BAA, at $9.99 to $14.98 a month for 200 to 300 pages.
Which providers sign a BAA at 200 and 500 pages?
Each row is a plan with a BAA available. The last column says how the provider signs it.

| SRFax Healthcare Lite | 200 | $12.60 | $10.70 | By request form |
| FaxTerra Business + HIPAA | 200, plus 10 free | $14.98 | $12.50 | Electronically before checkout, with the HIPAA add-on |

| eFax Business | 500 | $39.99 | $33.33 | Printed on the plan |
SingleFax's $10.80 is its $7.90 Standard plan plus a $2.90 HIPAA Secure add-on. Billed annually it is $79 plus $29, or $108 a year. FaxTerra's $14.98 is its $9.99 Business plan plus a $4.99 HIPAA add-on, and billed annually it is $99.99 plus $49.99, or $149.98 a year. FaxTerra's plans are compared with Fax Pigeon's in Fax Pigeon vs FaxTerra.
Notifyre prices in a way that does not fit one pages-a-month column. It sells receiving plans from $4.90 a month for 200 received pages and charges 3¢ for each page you send, drawn from a wallet with a $10 minimum top-up. It arranges a BAA through live chat or phone before your first fax. A practice that sends 100 pages and receives 100 pays $4.90 plus $3.00, or $7.90 a month, against Basic's $5.99.
Fax Pigeon counts pages sent and received together against one monthly total. Faxes keep arriving past it, and the pages beyond the budget go on a separate invoice at the plan's rate.
What do SRFax's terms say about your number?
SRFax's terms of service say you are 'not the owner of any SRFax Number.' When your service ends, SRFax may assign your numbers to another customer without consulting you. The number on your letterhead, in payer files and on referral forms is a number SRFax can hand to someone else once your account ends.
The exit has a step of its own. A cancellation notice has to follow SRFax's verification procedures, and the terms say those may include a phone call to confirm that you sent it.
The BAA has a step too. SRFax's healthcare page routes it through a Request a BAA button that opens a form on its contact page. At Fax Pigeon the BAA is signed at signup on every plan, and the free first fax sits under the same agreement (the BAA).

How do you switch from SRFax without losing your number?
Port first, cancel second. Start the port at Fax Pigeon from Settings while your SRFax account is open: porting in is free on every paid plan, and SRFax keeps the number working while most transfers finish in 5 to 15 business days. Cancel SRFax after the number lands, because its terms let it assign your numbers to another customer once the service ends. The steps for porting before you cancel set out the order, and the full price comparison is in Fax Pigeon vs SRFax.
What does every Fax Pigeon plan include?
Every plan includes a BAA signed at signup, a dedicated number that ports out free and unlimited people at no extra cost, and the six plans on the pricing page change only the page budget and the extra-page rate.
