A Fax.Plus BAA comes with a Fax.Plus Enterprise subscription, so getting one starts with buying Enterprise at $79.99 a month billed annually or $99.99 month to month. The plans are on Fax.Plus's pricing page. SRFax provides its BAA on request from a Request a BAA link under its Healthcare plans and prints no price for it. iFax offers a free BAA to Plus and Pro subscribers, while iFax Basic carries no HIPAA terms. Fax.Plus with a BAA costs $79.99 a month billed annually or $99.99 month to month for one person and for three, because Enterprise has unlimited members and is the only plan with a BAA. At 200 pages for one person billed annually, a year of Fax.Plus Enterprise costs $959.99 and a year of Fax Pigeon Basic costs $59.88, a gap of $900.11. Billed month to month, the gap is $94.00 a month, or $1,128.00 a year.

iFax prices three people on Pro plus 2 team licenses, because Plus leaves iFax's selector as soon as a team has two users. That puts iFax at $66.65 a month billed annually, or $799.80 a year, which is $739.92 a year more than Fax Pigeon Basic at 200 pages.

What else changes on a Fax.Plus HIPAA account?

A Fax.Plus HIPAA account is an Enterprise account with Advanced Security Controls on: 4,000 pages, unlimited members and 3 cents for each extra page. Email to fax on that account uses a TLS-enforced address, and Fax.Plus makes MCP (Model Context Protocol) unavailable there.

Fax.Plus Business and Enterprise include 2 fax numbers and charge $4.99 a month for each number past those, and Fax.Plus lists number porting from Premium up. At the other providers in the tables, SRFax adds $4.95 for each extra fax number and $25 one time to port in a local number, and iFax charges $4.99 a month for each extra fax number. Fax Pigeon includes the practice's own number on every paid plan and ports numbers in free; most transfers are done in 5 to 15 business days, and the number works at the current provider until then.

Who should switch from Fax.Plus, and to what?

A practice on Fax.Plus Basic, Premium or Business should switch to a plan with a BAA, and a practice on Enterprise that sends and receives 200 or 500 pages a month should switch to a plan priced for those pages. Fax Pigeon Basic is $4.99 a month billed annually for 200 pages, and Fax Pigeon Standard is $9.99 for 500, each with the BAA signed at signup.
